NWU Holds Special Prayer Sessions in Memory of July Martyrs

North Western ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, Khulna, observed solemn prayer sessions in remembrance of the July Martyrs, honoring their supreme sacrifice for the nation.
A special Doa Mahfil was held at 11:00 AM at the Administrative Building, where the prayer was led by Hafiz Maulana Md. Nasrullah, Imam and Khatib of Sabujbag Jame Mosque Complex. He offered special prayers seeking eternal peace and forgiveness for the departed souls of the martyrs.
Dignitaries Present:
- Professor Kanai Lal Sarker, Honorable Vice Chancellor
- Dr. Sheikh Shafiquar Rahman, Registrar
- Farzana Akther, Dean, Faculty of Business Studies and Honorary Dean, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences
Also in attendance were the Proctor, Assistant Proctors, Heads of Departments, Controller of Examinations, Office Heads, faculty members, officers, students, and staff.
Later, at 12:00 PM, another Doa Mahfil was organized at NWU’s Building-2, Tetultala, where students paid tribute to the martyrs through reflections and speeches. The prayer was conducted by Lecturer Abu Naeem Khan from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).

They were joined by Assistant Proctors, Department Heads, teachers, officials, students, and staff.
The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ community deeply remembers the historic sacrifices made by the martyrs of July and prays for the peace of their souls. Their legacy remains a guiding light for truth, justice, and national pride.
