Inauguration of Admission Fair for Fall Semester 2025 at NWU

North Western ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, the first private university in Khulna, has officially inaugurated the Admission Fair for Fall Semester 2025. The event was formally launched by the university's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Sheikh Md. Enayetul Babar, on Friday, May 23, at 11:00 AM at the Sonadanga Administrative Building.
The fair will continue until May 30, 2025. Admission services will remain available every day of the week, including public holidays, and the admission office will remain open throughout the period.
Present at the inauguration were Board of Trustees member Syed Hafizur Rahman, Treasurer Kanai Lal Sarkar, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology Md. Injamam-Ul-Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies and the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Human Science Farzana Akther, Registrar(Current Charge) Dr. Shahida Khanam, Controller of Examinations(Current Charge) Md. Anisur Rahman, Department Heads, Assistant Proctors, Assistant Registrar & Assistant Director of Public Relations Mina Ashikur Rahman Dolon, Marketing Officer Chowdhury Habibur Rashid, Senior Counselor and Member Secretary of the Admission Committee Md. Mahbubur Hasan, and Faculty members, Officers, and Staff from various levels of the university.
During the fair, students will enjoy various special offers and facilities. All programs will offer a 10% waiver on tuition fees. Students with outstanding results in SSC and HSC or equivalent exams will be eligible for up to 100% tuition waivers. Children of freedom fighters will also receive full tuition waivers. Additionally, siblings of current students will receive a 25% discount, and female and indigenous students will receive an extra 5% tuition fee waiver.
It is noteworthy that the fair will be held simultaneously at the university's Sheikhpara Academic Building-2. Prospective students participating in the fair will be able to avail special tuition fee discounts based on their academic results.
Currently, the university offers undergraduate programs in BSc in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Civil Engineering, BBA, LLB (Honors), and BA (Honors) in English. At the postgraduate level, programs include MBA, EMBA, MA in English Language and Literature, MSS in Economics and Sociology, Master of Development Studies (MDS), and Master of Public Health (MPH).
